LIFT READY® is a spectacular success at IDA Expo 2008

Dynamic’s new LIFT READY Rolling Grille made a spectacular debut at the IDA EXPO2008. Industry leaders gave the LIFT READY a collective thumb’s up for its revolutionary new design that reduces installation time and effort and the unique locking system engineered for real-world use.

Visitors were very impressed with the full size working demonstration of both the manual and motor operated models. Comments ranged from “Revolutionary!” to “Wow!” and "This is so easy!" Two models were on display including the Portcullis (straight rod/link pattern) Grille and the Ventana (perforated aluminum) Closure. Other models available are the Labyrinth (brick rod/link pattern) Grille, Pristine (polycarbonate panels) and the Vortex (solid aluminum slats).

Dynamic designed the LIFT READY with the installer in mind. Their goal was to manufacture a rolling grille that was competitively priced, safe, lightweight, easy to install and easy to use.

The ease of installation begins with the support tubes. Dynamic specifies custom extruded lightweight aluminum support tubes containing a steel “C” channel that easily and safely telescopes to the upper attachment point. This simplifies shipping, handling, and installing.

The LIFT READY bracket plates are a unique compact offset design so when mounting between walls no pack-outs are used. The plates also easily attach to the steel channel without the barrel assembly so leveling is a breeze.

The curtain comes wrapped on a lightweight aluminum barrel assembly in lieu of heavy steel pipe. Simply lift the curtain/barrel up and it front-loads into the bracket plates. It's so simple! The aluminum guides fit flawlessly on the extruded tubes and the bottom bar stops are integrated with the guides. This feature allows the installer to slide the stops up or down for the proper position.

Manual counterbalance models will have a ratchet charging arm attached to the shaft ready to wind the spring, it is incredibly safe and simple to do. Motorized grilles are just as easy. The motor is within the barrel and the spring is pre-charged for you. All you need to do is pull a pin and your door is fully charged. Yes, it does work with an emergency egress device.

LIFT READY Rolling Grilles will dramatically cut installation time and provide a safe and easy experience for the installer.

Dynamic also thought of the end-user. With the LIFT READY, you can safely activate the lock rods in the bottom bar at any height and bring the curtain down to the floor and it will securely lock. You no longer need to get on floor to lock the grille. The bottom bar has a ceiling conceal extruded into its shape. Access to the lock mechanism is designed so intelligently (should it ever require service) it will surprise you - simple, convenient, and smart.

The concept of developing installer friendly products is not new to Dynamic Closures. LIFT READY Rolling Grilles compliment the already successful EZ CLOSURE line of side folding security grilles and closures.
