Q. What areas are best suited for the Aisle Guards?
A. The name says it all, closing off aisles within stores. It is extremely useful in areas that have wine and beer products that can not be sold at certain times of the day.
Q. Is there a maximum width for Aisle Guards?
A. Simple Aisle Guards stay 8 feet wide and smaller. The end cap security products use a different model, the EZ Closure, and can be larger.
Q. What is the height?
A. The height can vary somewhat but you want to make it high enough that someone can not reach over the door and take product from the shelves. Most Aisle Guards are in the 7 to 7 foot 6-inch range.
Q. How does someone properly operate an Aisle Guard?
A. Simply bring the curtain from one side to the other and lock in place; takes literally seconds.
Q. Is there any kind of track for the partition?
A. Yes. The track is attached to a support tube that will rest on wall jambs that are attached to the shelving units on each side of the aisle.
Q. How wide are the panels that make up the curtain?
A. Curtains panels are widths of 4 ? inch, 7 inch and 11 inch. The panel covers some shelving area when in the folded/stacked position. You need to decide what model and type of door you want weighing the width and depth of stack.
Q. How do the locking posts work and where are they?
A. Locking posts work the same as standard side folding post. The hook bolt lead locking post is the most common to secure the curtain to the shelving. The other type of lead post is a bi-part. This combination post is commonly used on larger openings to lock two partitions together. A fixed end post is just that, permanently attached to the shelving. This post is used in combination with the lead hook bolt post or with bi part posts.
Q. Do we need floor sockets?
A. Yes, there could be a need if you are planning an end cap wrap around of some kind.
Q. Why is clear anodized Dynamic's standard finish and not mill?
A. The simple answer is to make a quality product. Unlike mill finish, a clear anodized finish will not oxidize and will be a clean product to handle for years to come.
