Details: Emergency Egress Door **
A convenient safety feature that is seamlessly incorporated in the overall grille or closure design.
Swing out 35 1/2 in. x 79 1/2 in. emergency egress fire exit is available in all models to meet strict fire code regulations. Egress doors for open air Grilles are constructed with Paravent panels. Egress doors for Closures are constructed of corresponding curtain material.
Emergency Egress Door Reset Steps
A.D.A. Requires Entry/ Exit Devices no lower than 9 in. and no higher than 54 in. from floor.
Thumb Turn with Protection
Thumb turn with protection may be used anywhere along the curtain.
Latch Handle
Can only be used off lead post. Can only be used on closure models.
Paddle Device
Can only be used off lead post. Can only be used on closure models. Check with your local Fire Marshall's office for required Egress hardware.
